Portugese ceramics

Portugese ceramics

This Portugese ceramic range carries the name of its founding father Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, who is considered to be one of the most influential personalities in 19th century Portugal. Pinheiro worked as an illustrator, artist and teacher, although he is probably most widely known for his iconoclastic ceramic designs. Founded in 1884, the Portugese brand continues to delight with its cutting edge approach to ceramics, namely how creative non-conformity and functionality can be moulded into one. The brand succeeds into capturing the joys of nature, with a good dash of humour thrown in for good measure!.
